The Startup Guidance Blog published its first article and officially launched on a warm Summer’s Day 22nd July, 2008.

Every year, thousands upon thousands of aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners from across the world join the battle to conquer the afflulent life of the self-employed. Each of these diverse individuals share a common dream of running their own successful and profitable self made enterprise. The sad reality is that, out of those who do start new businesses each year, the vast majority of them fail within three years of inception. You may ask; why is that?– For a number of different reasons but the most common causes of startup business failure are; overzealous expansion and poor organisational structure.

With such a poor record of success, startup businesses and their entrepreneurs are often overwhelmed by the help and support that other, successful entrepreneurs are willing to pass on to them. A quick search in your favoured search engine will show you that there are no fewer than several thousands of websites and information portals on the Internet each willing to offer you sound business advice, not to mention off-line mediums.

With that in mind, Startup Guidance wasn’t established to join the rest of the crowd – its concise aim is to provide quality and informative content to its readers in a manageable and comprehensive manner. We want to see you and your business succeed!
