As a father of four, I'll never run out of staff! Actually, child-labour jokes aside, it gives children a better sense of achievement and financial responsibility if they have to work for their cash. I don't believe in handouts and I'm not going to raise spoiled kids! So if it's not yardwork, then typing up mailing lists, labeling mail outs, researching email addresses and other vital tasks are definitely worth paying them with something they wouldn't normally afford. While neither of our parents can really offer a whole lot on the business front, they have helped with startup capital and our kids (12, 9, and 7) all love working for dad's company!
